Our Club members meet on first Fridays from September through June to conduct business, enjoy socializing, share tea, coffee and refreshments, and often short programs. In addition we organize casual monthly field trips to places of interest (special exhibits and plays, local gardens and nurseries, museums and libraries, and restaurants). Throughout the year interested members grow and pot plants; and work on crafts and embroider tea towels for the semi-annual flower shows. We support each other through our milestones and promote community traditions and values.
Awarding annual scholarships to local students graduating from SRJC and continuing onward to complete four-year degrees has been our cornerstone tradition since 1954.
The Graton Community Club maintains the clubhouse and provides a venue for community events and programs through membership dues, flower shows and other fundraisers, and through building rental fees.
